Great Staff, comfortable environment.
reviewed on: 10/10/2018 by KarenMy Mother-in-Law lived at Carrington Specialty Care Assisted Living on Three Notch Rd for about 3 1/2 years until she needed the care of a Skilled Nursing Facility. It is not a "fancy chandelier" facility, but instead is very home-like The communal "living room" and "dining room" areas got her out among other people. She had a large room (with a private bathroom) that easily fit her own bed and loveseat and recliner, etc. Having her own, familiar furniture helped the transition moving in. The Activities were always good (and appropriate for the resident needs) and improved every year. The staff was wonderful. I can't say enough about how they met her needs with patience, true and a true "caring" attitude. Mom felt comfortable and, as she once told us, "safe" living there. She thought of it as their home. Carrington staff and management have our deep gratitude for the care and dignity with which they treated Mom and how they worked so well with us, the family.

reviewed on: 04/19/2016 by AnonymousWe toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one, and I was not at all impressed by what I saw at Carrington. The place seemed to have some serious cleanliness issues, as soon as we walked in the door there was a noticeable odor. The dining room, which was visible from the entrance area, had dirty dishes on the tables. We also spoke with a few of the residents while we looked around, and none of the people we spoke to had anything positive to say about the place.
