Thank you Palos Verdes Staff
reviewed on: 09/23/2016 by David SerratoI learned about Palos Verdes Villa when my Grandfather lived their in the early 90's. He loved it there and when it came time to find a place for my mom, I remembered that. Linda and staff are outstanding, they are always very helpful and ready to answer any questions I may have. My mom has met new friends there and I rarely find her in her room which I believe is very healthy for her. I believe this retirement facility is very valuable to senior citizens. Thank you to all the Palos Verdes Villa Staff for all of their help and assistance with my mom.
I hope this helps others decide on a place for a loved one
reviewed on: 08/24/2013 by Joanie- the niece of a residentMy elder aunt has lived at Palos Verdes Villa for over two years now, and as her niece I tend to be quite particular. From day one I have found exceptional support from Linda Cardenas- she has gone out of her way to keep me informed on any and all issues regarding my aunt. I live hundreds of miles away and need to try and plan in advance when I fly down to So. Cal and Linda always lets me know in plenty of time if there are other things out of the norm which will need my attention when I am there. My aunt has made friends, but would of course prefer a private room rather than share, but the cost is more than she can afford, so she has adjusted to that. She avails herself of the hair salon and when she runs low on petty cash Linda calls me and I just send more. I would recommend this facility for the care and friendliness of the staff alone- the rest is just another plus.
On The Ball With Everything

Home, Home
reviewed on: 09/10/2019 by Josie EllisFrom the very first day I researched an Assisted Living place for my father-in-law, Palos Verdes Villa was my first choice. I was welcomed by their Administrator, Linda Cardenas and given a tour. I saw their calendar and bulletin board showing the many opportunities for the residents to keep active. The reasons we selected them were few, friendly taff, location and cost, but the reasons we are for ever grateful are many. Among the very top was the care and concern they have for each resident, individually and as a group of seniors as a whole. He came to live there after being in a convalescent hospital and fell in love with his room and his freedom! He felt that they treated him like a King. As his main Caregiver, I felt very comfortable calling or visiting them and discussing any concerns I had. I also was more at ease because I knew that if there was an issue, they would immediately call me, especially when his health began to decline. They were also a source of emotional support. At times, the staff was well ahead of me in assisting him with his needs as the arose. He needed additional table space for his puzzles, they took care of it. Needed to elevate his feet, recliner was brought in. Cold, heater appeared. Hot, let's close the air vent. Didn't like a pillow or blanket, worked with him down to the smallest complaint regarding his comfort or health. From the little things to the more crucial health issues, they cared, they care! He was a very particilar, opionanated and demanding person, but then at 99, I think most of us will be. He sadly passed away before his 100th birthday, but he was at peace and going from his current home to his final Home.
