Community Reviews
Senior Luxury Lodging
reviewed on: 03/25/2021 by Just ChuckIt is like living at country club. The dining room here is just like a country club I used to belong to. The library is beautiful and well stocked. There is a billiards room, and other rooms available for activities. It is a beautiful place. The rent just rent up recently. I feel the rent is very, very high. I understand why the rent is the way it is. The excuse is a little weak, especially this year. The community is blaming the rent increase on the pandemic. They are also blaming it on staff lodging and transportation. I feel this is grossly exaggerated. I would change the price of rent for the community if I could.
she loves it
reviewed on: 04/01/2015 by grace foster daughtermy mom has lived at Sterling for about 3 years and although she might not readily admit it...she loves it. She needed the extra care and supervision that Sterling provides but still allows her to have her own place. She raves about the food and participates in several exercises classes each week. She also enjoys the fellowship of a weekly bible study. The staff are caring and always available. I sleep alot better knowing she is in a safe place.
I would live here if I could!
reviewed on: 02/20/2017 by AnonymousMy father moved here and things are wonderful so far. I am so comfortable with the care he is receiving here. It's a beautiful place with friendly staff. They offer handicap accessible bathrooms as well. He's starting to get involved in the activities they offer and he won BINGO the other day. He's made friends in the dining hall as well. He likes the food for the most part and if he doesn't like something they are serving he can ask for something else and they accommodate him. I would recommend this community to anyone and I would move here if I was retired!
Excellent CARE
reviewed on: 09/16/2015 by LUCILLE ENOSMy mom has been at Sterling Inn for seven years. The reason I choose Sterling Inn is because I would not have to move mom any more. She just lost dad and she was very lonely. At first she kept busy with the activities. Then as the years went by she developed dementia and Parkinson's. She is under full care now and very good care. The girls and nurses and staff take very good care of her. I go see her at lease two to three times a week. I can go away for a few days and I do not worry about her. They take her to the dinning room for her meals and sit her in some activities. She also still gets her hair done every week and once a month her nails and toes. So she is not in the room all the time. She is 90 years old now. I am very pleased with Sterling Inn.
A welcoming place for anyone's parent
reviewed on: 05/15/2020 by Darryl PetersThe community is very clean, no odor, no stains, and the carpet is very well maintained. One day we were there a fire alarm went off and they operated very efficiently and kept everything under control. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. We noticed not only when we came to visit, but when we came in unexpectedly, they were always very friendly and were willing to help us. They know all the residents by name and clearly treat them very well. The community itself is a little expensive, however we feel the care is worth the price. The respite services were very reasonably priced considering how high the care standards are. The nurses are very efficient and are very well trained in how to deal with seniors who need help with things like bathing. They are very careful, which my mother also very much appreciated. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, they had daily activities available for the residents to participate in. My mom also said the food is excellent.
