Community Reviews
A nice place
reviewed on: 05/20/2020 by AnonymousOverall, it has been a hard adjustment. When we were looking at communities, we looked at six, and we felt that this was the best and most affordable place we could find. They offer a lot of activities, but she chooses not to participate in them. She says that the food is really good. There has been a lot of staff turnover, but the staff are very friendly. The cleaning staff scrubs the toilet with a brush and them used the same brush to scrub her tub, so, she has been upset about that.
mom is very happy there
reviewed on: 08/04/2015 by AnonymousWe researched a lot of places like this in the area. For my mothers needs and her personality we found The Posada to be the best fit. We have had no problems and no complaints. She is very happy there. She really likes the food. One area where they could improve would be to have a few more activities. Other than that, they have really been grat.
A great environment, friendly and helpful staff
reviewed on: 11/12/2020 by Terry TuttleWe chose The Posada at Whittier because they offered a discount for 6 months, so the affordability. The apartment sizes here are very spacious, she was in a studio and she was able to fit all her furniture. I did eat here a couple of times and the food was very good, they are chef prepared meals and have a menu with a variety of choices. One complaint we had was their elevator went down and it was not repaired for quite some time, so people who were immobile were not able to leave their floor. Overall, I would recommend. She liked it a lot and felt very safe here.
Motivating Staff !!
reviewed on: 10/11/2016 by AnonymousThe nursing care team have all been excellent and loving to my loved one. My dad has improved immensely since making the move into this community. The residents where all so welcoming to him and have involved him in the various activities they do throughout the day. I would absolutely recommend this place to any family member or friend.
don't be afraid to try a facility that is not a house.

Social stimulation is the key and my loved one has improved since coming to The Posada. I would recommend this community to others.
