Community Reviews
Care for parents
reviewed on: 03/15/2017 by AnonymousMy father is in this community. He was not happy here. He did not like that he was not able to sit with other residents at meal time. We wanted him to be more social with others. The community is very clean and taken care of at all times. He was taken care of on the personal side.
Healthy Meals !!
reviewed on: 10/12/2016 by AnonymousThe meals they provide my loved one are very delicious with healthy choices and are well proportioned. The nursing care team checks on her between three and four times a day to make sure she is doing well and her needs are being met. I am thankful for this community and would recommend this place.
Very nice place!
reviewed on: 10/12/2015 by AnonymousI think they do a very good job overall at the Veranda Club! The facility itself is beautiful, and my loved one is in their newest building which is always kept looking immaculate! I also appreciate that the community is laid out in such a fashion that it isn't an overly long walk to get to and from anywhere. My loved one is in their assisted living section, and she and a group of people often walk to the independent living side for social gatherings and activities! The staff here is absolutely wonderful, and the director in particular does a fantastic job! They make it very clear that nothing you ask of them is an imposition, they're always happy to help! The day my loved one moved in they were very busy, so the director herself showed up with a power drill to help us hang some pictures! The community has all sorts of activities and events, and I would particularly recommend it to any families looking for a community with an active Jewish population. There is a large Jewish community here, and they have a Rabbi in every Friday as well as observing all of the high holidays! We've had a few minor issues with communication, and I've noticed that sometimes the kitchen seems a bit understaffed and slow during the lunch hours. But overall it is a very nice community, and I would definitely recommend it as being worth a look!
Terrific Place
reviewed on: 05/25/2017 by AnonymousWe looked at many different places and found the Veranda Club to be the best for my Mom. It is not very large and everything is close in the facility. I have had dinner with her in the dining room and the food it pretty good. The apartment size is a nice size. The walk in closet is tremendous. I am jealous. Overall the family thinks it was a great move.
Everyone's Involved
