reviewed on: 04/10/2015 by PaulaI am the daughter of the new resident. I moved my Mother from Chicago to Crystal River just 9 days ago. She had a stroke 2 months ago. The staff and individual care is unbelievable. The concept is more like a private home than an institution. I have visited almost every day. She seems to be adjusting pretty well. Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I have never done this before - did not know where to "start".
Couldn't ask for better
reviewed on: 11/12/2021 by Regina LawsonAfter much debate within the family, we made the difficult decision of placing mother in a memory care facility. We chose Sunshine Gardens after reading reviews and talking with the Administrator and Staff. Mother was there for a year and a half before her passing. My family and I were extremely please with the care and attention that our mother received during her time with them. The Staff was amazing and we knew mother was being well cared-for. The facility was always clean, and so was mom. Everyone was friendly and patient, and we knew mom was happy there. We could not have asked for better care for our mother during the most difficult time in all of our lives.
