Exceptional Memory Care ALF
reviewed on: 02/15/2019 by kimmk1I cannot say enough positive comments about this facility. Having a family member transition is always hard on both the one changing from independent assisted living to memory care assisted living. The staff is amazing, they truly treat my Mom like she is their own, making sure her initial nights went well and were so patient with her. If you are looking for a safe and caring environment this is the place. I really could not ask for a better blessing for my Mom as I know she is in the best hands.
Wonderful Assisted Living Facility
reviewed on: 04/16/2014 by HappyDaughterExtremely nice assisted living facility. Its very clean and home-like with modern decor. The event coordinator, Connie, plans excellent services such as music, games, events and outings for the residents, the lunch meals are so good that I eat there at times - there are 3 meals served daily. This is a Catholic facility which is open to any and all denominations, but if your parent is Catholic, it's seasonal on-site Catholic events & masses are absolutely wonderful as is the on-site nun & counselor, Sister Delores. Church service is offered on-site by a non-catholic minister as well. The care giver staff is great overall, and sometimes needs to be monitored and management for consistency & accountability, and could be a bit more caring and friendly to the residents and families, but this comes with all facilities. There is always one or two nurses on site 24 hours daily 7 days per week, and atmosphere is lively and the nurses are wonderful. They have on-site doctors available as well. They accept Medicaid diversion and VA benefits (once you obtain them), and the place is so nice that there is typically a wait list to get in. As long as this place continues its positive service and balances its resident count with a sufficient number of quality and caring staff it will never need to advertise itself - word of mouth will be all that is needed.
Do not bring loved one here
reviewed on: 02/20/2019 by AnonymousNever have enough staff, food, toilet paper,or activity. I toured the facility and saw cockroaches. The main entrance is pretty but if you look beyond that,it’s dirty.t
This Place Is ABSOLUTELY the WORST!!!
reviewed on: 04/14/2020 by SarahI would give it negative stars if possible. Don’t bring your loved one here or even someone you don’t like. They have zero staff working the floor - 1 aid for entire memory care area. This poor aid had to get very resident up & dressed in the morning, plate the food, serve & then feed them, change their diapers or take them to bathroom, clean rooms, etc. longest 3 months of my life having mom there. Absolutely no compassion by the main nun who’s office is right outside the memory care unit or by the head administrator Susan Spotz. She was the most uncaring & dishonest person I have ever met. RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Many times I arrived to find naked residents walking around, feces all over the floors, & residents standing outside in the pouring rain without any staff around
