Easy living for your golden years.

reviewed on: 04/03/2019 by Thomas Edward Erickson

It's like living on a cruise ship. Guarantee you won't get sea sick. Great meals available when you are. Lunch 11:00am to 2:00pm and Dinner 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Exercise classes, swimming pool, all sorts of activities and various group counseling sessions are available. Friendly folks all anxious to help and make you feel right at home. Talk about cleanliness every morning on my way to exercise I usually encounter a gentleman riding a giant vacuum through the carpeted hall ways. Clean your apartment twice a month. It's hard to imagine how much better living here can improve your quality of life. You'll never need feel lonely again.

I have been a resident in Independent Living for 41/2 years. I have had so many wonderful experiences since living here. I enjoy many of the activities that are planned for us. The exercise classes have kept me moving. The food service here is incredible, so many choices to choose from. I have made so many good friendships with fellow residents. The staff here is always so helpful and considerate. I highly recommend Concordia Village to anyone who wants to enjoy Life to its fullest.

What a great place for me to move to after losing my husband. I have been here just 10 months and been in the rehab facility here twice for three weeks each time. Having such caring and kind people to help with my wellness has beena blessing and made it so much easier on the family!! There are always people around if you want to chat, many activities going on so you can choose to be active or just have quiet time.

What a great way to live in my senior years.

I have lived here for over 6 years. I do not think there could be a better place for me. I attend 10 exercise classes a week. I play bridge, pinochle, rummikub, hands & foot, go for walks around our campus with the lovely landscaping, eat luscious meals in our dining rooms, attend bible classes and church services, get good books to read from our well stocked library, go swimming indoors, and there is a art room for art projects including ceramics. There are all kinds of concerts, informative classes and parties held here and there is a movie theater with movies to go see everyday of the week. I still have my car in a garage here and I can come and go as I please. I am well cared for and feel safe and protected.

Great Place for Seniors to Live

We have lived at Concordia Village over three years and have not been disappointed in our decision. Everyone is so friendly. The Concordia Staff is super friendly and helpful. We have made so many friends and enjoy sharing a dining table with them in our beautiful dining room. The waiters are either high school or college students and they are a delight. The food is excellent with a varied menu. There are fitness and balance classes and a large pool offering many types of water exercises including an organized water volleyball team. Religious services are held for all on Sunday and the various denominations have services throughout the week. Our apartments are cleaned every two weeks. There are so many varied activities internally and entertainment comes in from the outside. The movie theater is attended by many. We can use the beauty salon if we choose as well as see a visiting doctor. The Concordia bus takes you to your medical appointments if you do not drive. A wood shop is available too. All in all, we think it’s a great place to live.
