A Wonderful Place to Call Home
reviewed on: 12/05/2017 by K. MissellMy Mom was a lifetime resident of the Damascus, Mt Airy area so it was a perfect fit for her to live there when she needed more help. We were born and raised in the area, as a teenager I volunteered at Lorien Mt Airy, it was and still is a wonderful community, the staff and residents are so friendly.

reviewed on: 10/20/2021 by KariOur family was setting up a tour with Lorien Mt. Airy because it came highly recommend to us and we have even had extended family live there. However, the gentlemen we spoke with advise they aren't doing in person tours because of covid and we would have to do one virtually which was fine but he never sent us the link. Also, every time we would call to set up a time he seemed very disinterested, rude and like we were wasting his time so we decided to not even tour Lorien Mt. Airy.
It Was Not A Good Experience
reviewed on: 11/08/2016 by AnonymousMy loved one was living here for some time until I found the community was not able to handle residents with dementia. They should try to understand people with dementia. It also was expensive, they were the most I have spent for care.
