reviewed on: 09/30/2016 by AnonymousIt was a beautiful place to visit. It was clean and the residents seemed happy. The room I was shown was really nice. I didn't notice anything going on. Nothing seemed alarming here. The matter of location was not close to the family.
Emotional, but I have gratitude for everyone there
reviewed on: 06/02/2020 by AnonymousIn my mother's apartment specifically, we thought they could have done a better with cleaning the floors and the bathroom. Overall, however, the community was pretty clean. In the memory care side, they do a good job with getting to know the residents' habits really well, like their likes and dislikes. They could do better with personal hygiene with my mother. There are some small things that they won't do that are difficult for her to do on her own. When the community went on lock down as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we asked how they were going to handle my mother's personal needs since outside professionals were not allowed in anymore. All the directors at the community stepped up themselves and offered assistance to the residents, as opposed to sitting aside and managing the process from afar.

The best possible place for our Dad!
reviewed on: 11/09/2021 by Bertha YWe had my 92-year-old father-in-law living with us as it became apparent that he was not doing well on his own at home. When we were looking for a place for respite care so we could go on vacation, Cornerstone had a very flexible policy that suited us well. He took a tour and said he would be happy to stay there for 2 weeks, but only while we were away. When we returned from our vacation, he liked it so much that he decided to stay! It's now been 4 months, and he still is very happy there. The staff is so caring and attentive. Everyone is focused on what is best for the residents, and they truly make him feel welcome and part of the Cornerstone family. He has much more freedom to decide what he wants to eat and to do than he did at our home, and we love the convenient location so we can visit frequently.

The transition has been eased by their focus on keeping her engaged and comfortable at the same time. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of senior care for their family member.
