reviewed on: 06/01/2017 by AnonymousThis community felt like a warm friendly place. They offer independent living in a separate area from assisted living and memory care. The community is clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. This community did not have an opening when we toured it.
Liked better than any other place so far
reviewed on: 08/01/2013 by Would RecommendSummerwood of Chanhassen is the fourth senior care facility we have found and moved my parents to. They have been in one other independent living facility, and then two other assisted living, and Summerwood is by far the best. The location is much closer to family. The staff contacted us when one of my parent's experienced and extra pain sensitivity which we discovered was the result of improper medication procedures at their previous facility. They have not arranged for mobile dental and vision care services, but they are looking into it and hopefully they add them to the services they provide.
