My Experiences with Highgate
reviewed on: 06/19/2019 by Betty's DaughterFriendliest staff I've ever had contact with, are always smiling and greet you no matter where you are in the Residence. It's like they really like what they're doing!! They actually have a "handyman" that repairs and helps install things practically immediately; I've called and talked to him in person! The admin staff are out and about, not hiding in their offices. I've had many conversations with the ED, Marketing, Care Coordinators and RN's; oh yes they have RN's, makes a lot of difference in executing the care, planning, and medication needs. They all seem knowledgeable about aging and the difficulties one experiences, its a very personal experience and not one size fits all. I actually leave happier than when I arrive. Services are what I would expect with some fun add-on's residents can choose if so desired. Highgate is licensed in all three levels, which is not the standard. We have used two levels so far. Overall, Highgate has delivered on what they have promised.

Safe and Comfortable

The facility inside is clean, well maintained and comfortable. Report back from my mother and stepfather is the friendliness of the staff and other residents and are meeting new friends.
91 year old loves living at Highgate

Mom loves the social gatherings that Highgate has weekly. She doesn’t remember most things very well but she never forgets when it’s time for a party of any kind. We have been very pleased with the caring and kind caretakers that Highgate has. Mother really enjoys all the people who work at Highgate. I would much rather be able to have my Mother live with me but I couldn’t begin to take care of her like Highgate does. We are very thankful knowing she is happy and well taken care of daily.
