Caring and Supportive!

reviewed on: 04/01/2021 by Jen

Aberdeen Gardens is a beautiful little retirement home nestled in the Kirkendall neighborhood of Hamilton. Every time I have visited the home, I have been impressed by it's cleanliness and the general ambiance of the home. The staff and the residents all seem to be happy and interacting with each other.

Frustrated resident

reviewed on: 01/01/2020 by Neglected

If you are thinking of this place and you are not ready for a nursing home this is not the place for you.A great number of the residents see m to be on a lay over waiting for a bed in a nursing home. The food is terrible and complaints are not addressed even if you go to the director. Administration is week it seems there is very poor communication among the staff. The cleaning staff need training on removing versus moving dirt. There are many disgruntled residents and they have no one to advocate for them. They are afraid to complain as they are afraid of reprisals and the administration has deaf ears. They have an abundance of activities and entertainment which are well organized the only department whichis well run!
