Community Reviews

Great Community

Family oriented feelings as soon as you enter the home being such a small residence it was easy to pick up on the community aspect. Staff are great and the home cooked meals are made daily.

The community is small, and my loved one receives more personalized attention. They have had a good Covid plan in place and have kept the residents safe. The communication is good between the staff and the family. I would recommend this community to others.

Tara Homes - Top Notch

reviewed on: 10/08/2019 by Anonymous

We have been very happy with Tara Retirement Home. My mother in law is 91 and was living on her own. While she coped very well she was starting to need more attention and help with things. Not being extremely sociable, moving to a large home would have been overwhelming for her. Tara was the perfect option. They were so welcoming the day she moved in. They asked what her favourite foods were and that is exactly what they served for her first dinner. She continually raves about the food so we know she is eating much better than when she was on her own. ANd having her medications looked after by Tara means we do not have to worry about whether she remembers to take them or not. She is even socializing with the other residents. The home is very clean and we just can't say enough about them. Thanks to a Place for Mom for putting us in touch with Tara.
