Its Been A Good Experience
reviewed on: 06/03/2016 by ReneThis community is clean for the most part but it seems they can do better for guests like having enough toilet paper and paper towels in the restrooms. The staff are welcoming and caring. The meals could be better, I feel the seasonings are not being used correct. The community have activities available. I would recommend this community as long as you stay on of the care and are there for your loved one on a consistent basis.
Beautiful Community
reviewed on: 10/13/2016 by AnonymousThis facility has out shined any other community we had looked at for my loved one. The housekeeping team has been wonderful at taking care of my grandmothers bedroom as well as maintaining the rest of the building. The food could use some improvement but other than that I have no complaints.
Had its ups and downs
reviewed on: 01/10/2018 by AnonymousMy Dad was here briefly and things didn’t quite go well. When we first brought him in, they were completely unprepared and were having staffing issues. We couldn’t get the service that we needed and it didn’t seem like anyone was around. We met with the management, though, and got a lot of our issues straightened out. After that, the rest of the time he was there, the service was pretty good. One of my concerns, however, was that the head nurse seemed to take offense to a lot of our complaints and never checked on my Dad the whole time he was there. The other nurses checked on him regularly and did a really good job of it, though. It’s a nice facility, but I think they might have some management issues. I would recommend this place but with caution.
Highly recommend
reviewed on: 10/29/2020 by Richard DonaldsonWe chose Bristol Park because of the head chef here. He made special meals just for my mom since she was Japenese. When she was in rehab, he even made sushi and sent it over to her. He and my mom had a great relationship. Her favorite part about the community was always meal time. She had a one bedroom and it was good size for her. I would definitely recommend.
A New Adventure Every Day
reviewed on: 06/29/2021 by KayThey have staffing problems. The management team is excellent. The bill is different each month, so I have to call to rectify this each time. Having spoke to friends and acquaintances in Amarillo the care is all about the same at the different communities. You just have to stay on top of the care.
