Community Reviews

My Visit To The Community!!

reviewed on: 10/20/2016 by Anonymous

This community seemed pretty good. The staff I met were nice. They did have a lower staff to resident ratio than the community we chose. They did not seem to be able to accommodate her diet. They seemed to have a lot of rules and regulations and did not seem flexible.

Nice community.

Only toured the alzheimer's units once on a Sunday. It's nice enough to seriously consider if the other residents are on the same 'level'? as your loved one. The Director is a little stiff on the phone, while the person giving us the tour was very friendly and you could tell she really cared about the services she was providing and the residents. The caregivers were nice to us and chatted with us but I didn't see any really interacting with the residents. The place is pretty outside and the decor inside is nice but could use a thorough cleaning, upholstery too. They have a good activities calendar but I got the feeling they are a little aloof about getting the residents involved - could be I'm mistaken - I'd want to observe on a weekday during activities. They do offer good personal services. When we visited there weren't allot of active residents so we did not feel it was right for our very active loved one. All these things change so tour it yourself as it's been 8 months since we toured.
