Community Reviews
My review of The Citadel
reviewed on: 06/14/2021 by DavidOur family had a virtual tour first and the people we spoke with her very nice and friendly. The community looked very clean so we reserved an in person tour appointment. However when we pulled up to the community we noticed there was multiple floor levels and our loved one did not want anyone living above her.
Responsible, nice-looking facility with friendly, caring and competent staff.
reviewed on: 09/12/2013 by AnonymousMy mother has been there for several years. She has been cared for very well although there has been a high turnover of staff. The dining room facility is lovely, and the food and service are excellent.
Food is great

I liked what I saw
reviewed on: 11/24/2019 by Deni SelvigI am a new resident. The food is great. I chose The Citadel because I like meeting people and it is not to far from my kids.
Disappointing and could be better
reviewed on: 06/12/2019 by TJ OwenMy dad was left on a toilet for a half hour. He decided to get up and go back to bed without help and fell. That should not happen. Hire enough help to cover the capacity of the facility. Most of the nurses are too busy to help as well. There is only one that makes the visits there worth it and she can’t be there all the time. The aides try their best but there are just not enough of them when there are three of them and 6-7 lights go off at any given time.
