This place was beautiful. ...
reviewed on: 05/21/2014 by AnonymousThis place was beautiful. Loved the library. Talked to some residents that loved the place. Beautiful grounds - really liked that Mom could have her own garden area. Duck Pond! water aerobics - lots of activities - but no memory care for dad later. residents very involved in their own community - ie boutique - lots of what looked like very active seniors - 'buy -in' --- little more $ than Westminister

Gorgeous mountain community
reviewed on: 03/28/2017 by Blanca MartinezAlthough my dad's first language is Spanish the people working there have made great effort to reach out and include him in every way, whether in conversation or in activities, which was the greatest concern to me. The community is gorgeous, it's clean and the food amazing, what more can anyone want.
thumbs up
reviewed on: 10/23/2015 by AnonymousRoyal Oaks gets a thumbs up. My parents are pretty happy there. Their stove doesn't work and they do have some maintenance issues but the staff are working on it. They seem responsive. This facility is awesome.
Best Retirement Home in San Gabriel Valley
reviewed on: 04/28/2020 by Jan ThorntonMy mother lived at Royal Oaks for the last 10 years of her life(95 years young). Facilities are well kept, particularly when any flu or cold is going around. Royal Oaks reacted immediately to the current Crisis. All residence are given food in their room eliminating "groups". I recently had to take paper work to a client who is living there. They took my temperature, made me wear gloves/mask and fill out a health report. The fact that they have 3 levels of care is great! My mother had to use all 3, but she did not have to move to an unfamiliar place. She knew the grounds, the hairdresser and the staff. The staff, what a lovely group of people. The "kids" serving in the dining room are particularly polite, and most helpful. The ground are gorgeous, food is delicious and the staff is most caring and helpful. I have visited many retirement homes in the San Gabriel Valley, Royals Oaks is The Best!
