Community Reviews

Wonderful Christian Community

reviewed on: 12/12/2013 by Daughter

Very caring, very honest. Christian. They just have a very open honest approach to their life and to their business. My mother lives in a little apartment but they also have little homes. People have their own homes there and they can take their meals with the community or in their own home. This place is amazingly beautiful. She has her own little apartment with a bathroom and a kitchen. Brand new carpeting and everything has been repainted. She has a rocking chair outside that she uses all the time. I would recommend this to anyone. Couples can live there, and they also have accelerated care. Residents like this because they feel as though they don't lose their friends even though they lose their independence. It is strongly Christian, and they want it to stay that way, so they try to make sure that people will fit in before they move. It started out as a little Christ alliance church. Ministers started retiring on their property, and since then it has really taken off. There is a larger Christian Missionary church down the road, but the little church that was the original one is right across a quiet, small street from the independent living center. They have a crosswalk guard to make sure that people in walkers can get across the street safely. They have church services every Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday, and Friday. My mother is Lutheran but she still really appreciates the Christian fellowship The food is wonderful! She has to pay extra, very reasonable charge to go to the doctor; it is $10. Every week they go two or three times a week to Publix or Walmart.

My Summary of Alliance Community

reviewed on: 03/14/2015 by Jimmie Bryan

Alliance Community is a well-organized, welll-kept and permanent home for aged people, very friendly and helpful staff members, as well as residents. I think it is the best in this section of Florida, and would certainly recommend it very highly. I know I will have peace-of-mind living there, as well being cared for, when need arises.
