A Wonderful Place for Mom
reviewed on: 11/18/2021 by Jeff MThe level of care for the money is exemplary. Mom is very happy here. The staff has been extremely helpful in all aspects of her care including getting her moved from FL to GA. I couldn't have asked for more.
Ivy Hall is a wonderful place for our mom
reviewed on: 10/31/2020 by Sook Hee StirlingOur mom got sick and had to spend a month in rehab. After she was released, we weren’t able to take care of her around the clock. It was such a comfort when we found Ivy Hall. We searched for a place with a good reputation and was also affordable. The staff truly cares for our mom and asks us how they can provide for all her needs. Our mom doesn’t speak English very well and yet the staff take the time to understand what she needs. The maintenance person even labeled the TV control with the station number for the Korean channel so our mom is able to watch her Korean dramas. They take the time to call us when they aren’t able to communicate with her. The Ivy Hall creates a home environment and our mom seems very comfortable at her new home. The professional healthcare providers ensure our mom stays healthy. The staff offered to FaceTime with our mom so we can see each other during the coronavirus social distancing time. It is such a comfort to know our mom is well taken care as though she is part of the family (we live five hours from Atlanta). We recommend Ivy Hall to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved ones.

She is happy with the nice variety of the meals. They have a nice list of activities. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.
Lovely Facility - Became Home Overnight For Mom
reviewed on: 04/15/2014 by AnonymousFrom the first time we walked in the door, my wife and I knew it would be a perfect place for my 89 year old mother. Becoming blind late in life presents many barriers, but the marketing team and management staff let us know that type of disability would not be an issue for them. When the Director of Nursing came to our house to evaluate my mother, she really took her time and observed as well as interviewed her. The level of service needed was not above what we thought we needed and that was a pleasant surprise; for that is one way that the cost could be prohibitive for us. The move in was seamless, my mother transitioned well into her new living quarters and I didn't see her again for hours until I got tired sitting there and decided to leave. I found her downstairs participating in activities she hadn't done in four years. She has been there over two weeks and the activities for her are just right and she really does enjoy her new life. The proof was definitive when she called my wife and thanked her for finding such a wonderful place for her. We enjoy visiting and when the nursing staff see us, they immediately give us an update without being prompted. They truly are wonderful caretakers and it is obvious they love their jobs.
