Review of Phoenix At Johnson Ferry
reviewed on: 10/09/2020 by Jim HollarVery friendly and warm staff. Excellent tour and facility. Check all of the boxes for me on the higher tier of pricing. Middle tier of service is a definite bonus and very thoughtful and well-planned range of services. Loved the rooms and common areas as well.
Nice, Small Community - Intimate Feel
reviewed on: 08/14/2013 by Son of a residentIt's very clean and the staff is excellent. It's a good value for what we're paying. The care service seems to be very good. I had a few things that I think were just adjustments and getting to know the place and them getting to know us. I think that's to be expected when you're first coming in. They're very responsive to when things come up. My mom seems to be engaging in all of the activities. She's occupied. They bring in animals; she's very good with animals and she loves that. She's in the memory care unit and she's able to participate in the outside activites and exerxises like tai chi. She loves zumba. I must give them high, high marks for their friendliness. I like the smallness of the unit for the memory care becuase it's more intimate and that's good for my mom.
Nice place
reviewed on: 10/12/2015 by AnonymousOverall our experience with Atria Johnson Ferry has been a very good one! My only minor complaint is that I think some of the communication and administrative things could be handled better, but otherwise the people are very friendly and the facility itself is well kept and clean. It's a very nice place, overall!
I would recommend to others
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by AnonymousPlace was very clean and staff pretty good. A bit more about the clients needs should be shared with the care givers so they have a better understanding of what's going on. My dad unfortunately passed away 6 wks after he became a resident - UNEXPECTED. But he showed signs and we were allowed to be at his bedside daily in PPE equipment Some technology issues that caused dad anxiety when door opener and pager did not seem to function properly. Difficult to tell staff to resident ratio, so don't know if they may have been understaffed. Attentive to all specific requests and sr personnel responsive to communication. They were a blessing being close to my home and able to take dad during this covid viruin time.,
Learned on the Tour
reviewed on: 03/29/2017 by AnonymousI learned their view point of Assisted Living and found that they are not licensed to give assistance. However, I was looking for a community to be the last one for my father-in-law. They were not the one that would provide care the longest. I did not see anything bad it just was not the right fit.
