Communication is always clear, timely and transparent. The staff anticipates the residents needs, are proactive and go above expectations. In summary I’m so fortunate to have my wife in their care and not worry myself about her well being! They are all angels❤️

reviewed on: 05/20/2017 by Terri BytofMy mom was placed at Northbrook Inn due to her valcility not being opened on schedule in Bloomingdale. This home is identical to Lakeview where mom is a resident now. Everyone including maintenance were more then helpful and kind. My mom was well taken care of. If I had anything negative it would be that mom said she would like to have more of a choice of food selection.

reviewed on: 07/10/2017 by AnonymousWe dropped in, unannounced, to visit a friend who recently moved into Northbrook Inn and were delighted to see the beautifully appointed decor, our friend's large room with great natural light, and the homey friendly surroundings. Our friend reported enjoying an in-house operatic performance given by music students from Northwestern a few days prior. And the staff person who greeted us shared details of recent conversations she had had with our friend. When my time comes, I hope there's an opening at the Northbrook Inn for me!
Brand new community!!
reviewed on: 02/02/2017 by AnonymousI liked that this was a brand new community and that everything was new and very modern. They had a great staff selection and everyone seemed very nice. They also had a great memory care unit that I thought was a highlight of there facility. Overall It was a pleasant experience just was not the right fit for my mother.
A new community

The staff I met seemed nice and they say they do encourage the residents to be social and not spend a lot of time in their rooms. They seem to offer a lot of nice amenities. I would recommend that if you look at this community you go at a meal time. Make sure to ask about the activities offered to see if they would be something your loved one might be interested in.
