Medora is a town in Carr Township, Jackson County, Indiana, United States. The population was 693 at the 2010 census. Medora is noted for its 438-foot (134 m) long triple span covered bridge, purported as the longest historical covered bridge in the United States.From 2010 to 2012, filmmakers Davy Rothbart and Andrew Cohn followed the Medora Hornets high-school basketball team for the documentary, Medora that was released in 2013. It won an Emmy in September 2015.
