The Best Care on the East Sidereviewed on: 05/07/2021 by Karen
They were spectacular. It's an excellent place. They really care about the people that are there, both their staff and their patients. They were very helpful. They were accommodating during the Covid challenges. My friend got very antsy being there, and they allowed me to take him out for rides and keep him occupied. So while they were very careful in their protocol to keep everyone safe, they were not so rigid in those protocols that they were not able to work with people individually. And their care staff was phenomenal. The health lead was superb, just wonderful. The food was really good. During Covid lockdown, they still had some activities that were well monitored for safety. And those who couldn't leave their rooms got visits and interaction all the time from the staff, including the head director, who was very good to my loved one.
Purple Heart is Greatreviewed on: 05/10/2021 by Lynn
They're localized, and they'll do whatever you want them do. I've found their transportation services and companionship to be the most helpful. I had a little problem with bookkeeping. They kept sending me my loved one's bill, but they were efficient with straightening that out. I would say they're very efficient overall.
Our Tour Experiencereviewed on: 07/08/2021 by anonymous
The people who led our tour were very nice. It just wasn’t the right fit for our loved one due to the layout of the facility. I felt like the memory care rooms were too far away from the people who watch over the residents. But I know someone who lives in the independent living area, and they're very happy there.
Highly recommendreviewed on: 05/19/2021 by Dawn S
Our loved one moved in the day after the opened and so far we are having a great experience. Boyson Heights is cheaper then a lot of other communities we looked at. The meals plans were better, and overall they just had the best amenities. Our loved ones are really enjoying the food and they have great activities. She is playing bingo, board games, painting and loving the exercise classes.
A good fit for dadreviewed on: 04/27/2021 by Ben
We chose Aegis Gardens Newcastle because of the amenities provided, the friendly staff, and the overall facility. The location is also easy to get to. The room sizes here are good size, it is exactly what my dad needed. They have been great with communication and I would recommend them to others looking.
