Care Available When You Need it the Mostreviewed on: 05/18/2021 by anonymous
I will say that one of the things that we probably did not like the most was trying to establish a consistent team of caregivers, which we really wanted so that my loved one would get accustomed to the same people. That was a little bit of a challenge at the beginning, but we got there eventually. My advice would be to be persistent and patient, because they do try very hard to get you those consistent caregivers. It's important to keep open lines of communication, and sometimes it seemed it was hard for them to provide us information when there were schedule changes. So communication is an area they could work on. But I did like the fact that the majority of the caregivers that we worked with were responsive to my loved one's needs, and they seemed to have some background and experience in providing that type of care. They seemed to have a caring and empathetic type of nature. There were a couple that we did not mesh as well with, but we were able to communicate that with the schedulers, and they were able to make those changes for us.

Very Caring Situation For Your loved Onereviewed on: 03/26/2021 by TH
They're just very friendly and helpful. And they seem to really care about their patients, which makes a difference. This is a much better experience than we had at a different place. We had some paperwork hiccups at the beginning, but so far everything else has gone very well. They have a room designated for in-person visits, and it's very clean. I have no complaints. My loved one seems to be doing very well here.
They were like familyreviewed on: 06/22/2021 by Kim B
My sister was only in the Buena Vista Senior Care facility for a short time before she passed. But in that short time, [name removed] and the other staff treated us like family. And we loved the intimate and supportive feel of the place. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for care of a senior loved one.
Look around for optionsreviewed on: 05/25/2021 by anonymous
We chose Griswold Home Care because it was needed at the time and I did not have a lot of time to look around. We have never had any issues with scheduling so that has been good. It is a 3rd party to a 3rd party, I report to a hiring person and then she calls the director of the company so it can get a little messy if we have any issues. I would recommend to others who are looking, but it is expensive.
