Community Reviews
The Right Choice
reviewed on: 01/13/2018 by JCThree months ago I was forced with the fact that my mom could no longer live alone in her home of 60 years. After a month of researching communities to admit her, I chose Terrebonne Place Assisted Living. My hardest decision has turned out to be my best decision. This community fosters a positive and caring environment due to their great staff members who strive to have the residents live in a welcomed and homely environment. The friendly and loving staff is available 24 hours a day in case my mom needs assistance through an emergency call system which really gives me piece of mind. At Terrebonne Place, I feel every physical detail from the lovely grounds to the well planned apartments along with the great variety of activities provided daily assures me the comfort I was looking for in my mom's new home.

Need Better Food!!
reviewed on: 09/06/2016 by AnonymousThe community is very clean and well up-kept. The staff is nice and they communicate well. There are two things i wish the community can improve on. One is the activities, they need more activities there is a lot of bingo and really not much besides this. The quality and taste of the food is also not good i have spoken with the director before and he is addressing the issue it is good that they will listen to the families concerns. Overall if these things get fixed i would highly recommend Terrebonne Place.

Not the right place for my parent
reviewed on: 03/03/2016 by Not impressedIf you or your loved one is independent and in tip-top health, this might be the place for you. However, if you have health issues, do not expect that there will actually be a nurse handy in the event of an emergency because there will not be. There is no plan for an emergency medical situation except call 911. The management team is all about assessing what residents needs and making sure they are charged accordingly. Actually providing the expensive levels of service is a hit and miss proposition as the staff is poorly trained and motivated so only those with a vocation and love for seniors work.
