Management very involved with residents. Our decision is made. A great feeling knowing your loved one will be well cared for.

The residents seem happy and always smiling. The staff really care about the residents. I would recommend Summerfield Retirement Community of Slidell!

reviewed on: 07/20/2019 by AnonymousWe toured all assisted living facilities in Slidell and a few in Covington. Summerfield of Slidell is the best overall in my opinion. We met the Management who was working the weekend. She gave us a tour. Residents were enjoying their exercise program. The building is clean and smells good. They even allow small pets. The residents were eating lunch in the Dining Room and they had a wait staff. The menu had a good variety. Was very impressed with how spacious the rooms are. We will be getting on their waiting list very soon.

It’s a very clean building and there is no odor like you would expect at a nursing home. My mom’s room is really nice and it has a good layout. For activities, they offer things like bingo, happy hour, live entertainment, casino trips, and different outings. I would recommend this facility to other families.
