Community Reviews
Our loved one's experience at Corcoran House was poor.
reviewed on: 10/05/2021 by anonymousThis was the first community our loved one lived in. It was okay. The facility was nice enough and clean. I liked it alright, but when compared to where we ended up next, they didn’t give nearly the level of care. He wasn’t used to it at all and got extremely paranoid, started developing early dementia, and became extremely depressed. And it was clear that we needed to move him somewhere else.
Couldn't be happier!
reviewed on: 12/11/2020 by Brian McNamaraThe value is excellent and the staff members would be a ten out of ten. The care services at this community especially during this year have been extraordinary, and the activities are excellent. The rooms seem to be just the right size and are very comfortable. We highly recommend this community.
A friendly, caring environment that provides many opportunities for residents
reviewed on: 06/01/2020 by AnonymousThe community is always clean. Every time we visit, my mother's apartment is always clean and the bathroom is always clean. Very high marks for cleanliness. Some of the staff is a bit friendlier than others, but they are all great with the residents. The care could be improved for the higher needs residents. The staff is really good about engaging the residents in activities. If a resident does not want to participate, they are good about encouraging them to do so in the future. Corcoran House is definitely worth the price. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we think Corcoran House is doing everything they can do protect the residents. During the community lock down, the staff has really stepped up to assist further than usual. It has been very difficult for my mother to be in quarantine.
Good Tour Overall
reviewed on: 05/02/2017 by AnonymousI had a nice experience on my tour of this community. Everyone was very kind to my family, and I. There were many factors that played into where to move my aunt to. This is a nice community, but it wasn't the one for us. Good experience overall.
The people are awesome
reviewed on: 10/01/2015 by AnonymousI have been very pleased with Corcoran House. My brother-in-law loves it there. The people are awesome. Even the residents are really friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome there. It is a smaller facility and it doesn't offer an out door area. But across the street there is a park. My brother-in-law is very comfortable here so there is give and take.
