My mom was moved in on a Friday and was rushed to hospital on Sunday, she fell in her room and put a nasty bump on her head it effected her left eye. So of the experience we had was short but sweet. But I can tell you that the people were very nice and friendly and welcoming. She ended up at Evergreen in Stafford Springs, CT. She needed more care and watch very closely after that fall so my brother and I made the decision to move her there. One thing we worried about was we prepaid for amonth ahead and they gave my brother alittle trouble of getting refund but the main branch reach out to my brother to discuss a refund with him. To make a long story short we did receive a refund of part of the payment. We were satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone. And a place for mom also was a great help to me. For advice and an ear. Thank You

Highly recommend

We chose The Reserve at East Longmeadow because of the nice size of the rooms, my mom has a corner room with 4 large windows, the reputation of the facility, and the friendliness of the staff members. It is also close to our home. They do have zoom calls, emails, and texts to keep families updated. When she first moved in they had an outstanding chef, but during lock down the food was delivered and the chef left so the food is not as good as when he was there. The cafeteria is now open again and they have a standard menu and specials every night. I would absolutely recommend.

I'm very impressed with the care at The Reserves

I live in FL and my sister lives in MA. Her daughter in law is in the medical field so she visited a lot of places and said The Reserve at East Long meadow was the best. We also chose it due to the price. My mom has a small apartment, its perfect size for her. She said the food is good, but during the virus they have had to eat in their rooms, so when the food gets delivered it is cold. My favorite part about this community so far has been that I think they do a great job taking care of their residents and they keep the family informed. During COVID, they kept us informed on how they were going about protecting the residents. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

Praise for The Reserve-East Longmeadow's Assisted Living

reviewed on: 01/28/2020 by Happy father = daughter who sleeps well at night!

I recommend The Reserve at East Longmeadow for Assisted Living based on my father’s and my positive experiences. Staff members across the board are warm and caring including life enrichment/ activities, nursing/nursing assistants, kitchen/dining services, environmental services and maintenance front desk and administration. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The food is excellent and prepared by a Chef with local restaurant experience and his team! My father benefits from having weekly housekeeping and laundry service, and support for his dietary needs including for example, a low sodium salad dressing prepared on-site. There is an on-site beauty/barber shop, and options for other services on-site including a nurse-run foot care service. My father enjoys the activities including musical performances, presentations and the weekly Happy Hour get-together complete with wine and snacks.

It's beautiful, and the food was excellent, and the services are good.

I think the assisted living is great and if you are pretty far along with the memory loss. It's beautiful, and the food was excellent, and the services are good. However if you aren't quite needing full blown memory services, and you are sort of that in between stage for memory, then this might not be the best fit.
