Really nice communityreviewed on: 08/07/2017 by Anonymous
Bickford of Okemos was a really nice community. It was very clean and well kept. When we toured the facility there was a different staff member, one for intake, one for activities, one for the caregivers, who explained how their department operated. The only reason we did not choose this community was that there was not the type of room we wanted available.
It was a relief to find something so nice to move your loved one intoreviewed on: 12/11/2020 by Betty Bauer
The activities were great, and the community was neat, clean and did not have any fowl smells. The courtyard sat right in the middle and it was just beautiful. We would absolutely recommend this community to others.
Too small for dad and memo...reviewed on: 02/16/2014 by Anonymous
Too small for dad and memory patients seemed lower functioning than mom. Not a good fit
Good experience at Bickfordreviewed on: 05/21/2019 by Nelson
During the short time my mother was at Bickford in Okemos, she was well cared for. She received prompt attention and good effort was made to make her comfortable and to involve her in activities she could handle. The staff was responsive to family requests, and a slight billing issue was resolved without hassle.
A place my mom lovesreviewed on: 04/16/2020 by Joy
My mom lives here and truly enjoys the residents and staff. It is very much run like a family home. It is not a simple task to find a safe and joyful place for some one in your life that means so much. Bickford was that place for my mom. She has loved it there. I am so grateful to the staff each and everyone they are “true joys”!
