Community Reviews
Memory care for mom
reviewed on: 02/13/2017 by Pat BosMy Brother and I recently toured the Cedars memory care. The tour took us through the entire community area and showed us things we could do when we visit. There was several community room areas, a library, fitness room, hair salon that needed some updating, the dining room was big with a lot of character, I love the thought of being able to park in a heated garage. The memory care itself was cozy and we only seen one apartment open, but I like she can have her own private bathroom and not share one. Our experience overall was really good on the tour and we have decided place our mom at the Cedars. We also talked to a staff that has worked there 15 years that was willing to answer our questions.
It hasn't been that good.
reviewed on: 01/28/2016 by AnonymousIt hasn't been that good. I wanted to move her out the same day we moved her in. They didn't seem to care about much. It doesn't seem like they have a lot of activities there at all, either, they all just kind of sit around. When we went to the tour, they didn't show us a whole lot, just the room. It looks fine, it's clean. I feel like with the memory care they bit off more than they can chew. They seem to be short staffed, and there is one aide there, that seems to be particularly unfriendly.
