reviewed on: 01/11/2014 by AnonymousDesmet was the perfect community for mom. The residents are nice and welcoming and staff is accomodating. The nice thing is that if mom needs more care, they have an assisted side that can help with meds and other needs. Mom is the happiest she has been in awhile and I know it's because she feels safe and is looked after.

reviewed on: 03/28/2018 by SissiI'm very pleased to say my mom is very happy at Desmet retirement place the activity director is fabulous Tina goes out of her way to help all the residents she is very creative with the activities and amazingly patient with everyone Melody is wonderful she explains everything when showing the place and Susan is always Welcoming and checks on every resident every morning to make sure they are ok I feel very happy that my mom is so happy there.. Thank you to everyone..

From the top to the bottom, this facility is amazing and clean. They have a courtyard where my Mother can walk and it’s even lighted so if she wants to go out at night, she can. This community is also pet friendly and you can have a cat or a small dog. My mom is just so happy here. I feel like she is so much more outgoing and has a bunch of friends compared to other places. There’s a bunch of activities like happy hour, bingo, and a full calendar of things to do every day. I would absolutely recommend this facility.

And Melody is so friendly and Welcoming when she gives you to tours through the place and Susan is great checks on every resident every morning to see if they are ok everyone seems to go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy 😄😃😁Thank You for making my mom feel welcome. 😊
