Review of Margaret Conover Care
reviewed on: 03/04/2019 by Robert (Bob) Conover: Margaret's oldest sonWhen Mom was moved to Highgate from Bella Terra, somehow her perscription schedule was not passed on to the ladies that hand out the perscriptions. I had to make the staff aware after she had a half day lasps in her medications. Mom is scheduled to get her clothes washed on Mondays but she has to often remind the caregiver to do so. Also, we thought that her weekly room cleaning included light dusting. Most times there is no dusting so Mom does it. The caretaker Mom has on most days, Mary, does a great job looking after Mom and we especially appreciate her because she has spotted infections on Mom's legs that are taken care of quickly. Mary does not help Mom on Mondays, someone else does so this other person misses laundry.The meals have been great, the activity person does great getting Mom involved, the dining room staff is excellent, the desk people are extremely helpful. Mom was supposed to have a care evaluation after one month and I do not know if that has happened. At least I have not been notified of the evaluation or its result.
Wonderful Facility

There are many activities offered with a large variety to meet the varied interests of the residents. When we’ve had a concern, it was quickly addressed and remedied.

reviewed on: 11/15/2018 by AnonymousThis has been a great move for our parents. It is good that Dad can go to the dining room for meals and can interact with lots of different people. Housekeeping takes care of the cleaning, so he can relax. If either of them needs something, there is always someone available. Their doctor comes right here, so they do not have to get out for appointments. There are many services that come right here for their benefit. Thank you, Highgate Senior Living-Billings
Alzheimer’s Cottage Side
reviewed on: 12/11/2018 by Roxanne LawverWe have had my Mom there with Alzheimer’s since 2015. They kept her on the regular side until she fell and broke her hip. They were very accommodating and great there. I have not been overly impressed about the overall care of my Mom since being moved to the cottage. Not sure if they are understaffed or the staff is struggling to deal with chaos in regards to dealing with patients who are memory deprived. I did talk about this and am closely watching to see if the changes that were promised happen. My sister lives in the same town, so she watches closely and shares with me. As guardian, and even more importantly, as a daughter, I am very involved in my mother’s care. Overall, they do a good job if you can afford the cost.

The dining hours works for everyone's individual wants and needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Well done!
