Bedford Falls = the best!

My wife and I invested a significant amount of time researching and vetting facilities within 30 miles of our home for my Dad, who we needed to move from Florida to NH. We had some complexities in our situation (but then again, who doesn’t in cases like this) Of all the places we visited, Bedford Falls stood out in every category. Not only did the facility stand out in terms of cleanliness, amenities and design, but the staff really got our attention. Everyone we encountered during the three tours were welcoming and genuinely friendly. We interviewed several folks our age who had parents at Bedford Falls and all gave glowing reviews. The parent company routinely gets high marks from employees as a great place to work, and this was important to us, as the positive company experience translates directly to great resident care. The high level of care offered by Bedford Falls is what sealed the deal. They are staffed by need, not by headcount. My Dad has now been a resident at Bedford Falls for 3 months and we are extremely pleased. I am continuously blown away with the support we receive from Rob and his staff. My Dad’s situation is complex and fluid, and Rob has successfully adjusted on the fly to meet all our needs. Most importantly, my Dad is happy at Bedford Falls. He is a 30 year veteran of the nursing home industry who has very high standard for senior care (translated: he is VERY picky) . He loves the staff and enjoys the food (this is critical!) We are incredibly grateful to Rob and the amazing staff at Bedford Falls who have helped make this difficult situation as smooth and as supportive as possible. They always go above and beyond what I would normally expect. I am very comfortable knowing that my Dad is in the best place receiving the best care possible given his circumstances. We cannot recommend Bedford Falls strongly enough!
The most welcoming community.

They are treated so kindly and the caregivers are so accommodating. The staff are always welcoming have a smile and seem to like their job. They are quick to respond to our questions and ask if there is anything they can help with. They encourage mom to participate in some of the daily activities. The food is phenomenal the community is very clean and I would recommend it.

Just Not a Great Value
reviewed on: 09/10/2020 by BrianI would tell my friends to read the contract carefully as they are sneaky. The day my father passed away, they told me we had to give them a 30 day notice before they stop charging and there is $9000-$10000 community fee. The overall care is good. The room my loved one lived in was a two bedroom apartment and there was another resident in the apartment.
Mom is now at Bedford Falls - A daughter's perspective
reviewed on: 11/07/2013 by Debbie A.Overall, Bedford Falls is a beautiful facility. Our initial impression was a very positive one. The staff is gracious, understanding, compassionate, and genuinely caring about the residents and supportive of our choices and concern for Mom. They do take time to get to know each indvidual resident on a first name basis, and are always willing to help. Our family, however, does feel that the initial evaluation for selecting Mom's level of care was not as comprehensive as we would have liked. We expressed that we thought that Mom would need more care than the traditional care program in assisted living offered, but were assured that she qualified for the 'traditional' level. Five weeks later, Mom has been moved to the Harbor neighborhood for the memory imaired. Our only regret is that, had the evaluation been more comprehensive, the reality of the need for more agressive care and assistance could have been realized sooner, and we wouldn't have had to put Mom through another move so soon. She is very frail, trusting, vulnerable, and now needs to be guided and queued for her everyday living. We have placed all of our trust in the staff at Bedford Falls and hope and pray that Mom adjusts and makes new friends, and that the staff recognizes and acknowledges her every day needs. It will be so refreshing for us to know that she is safe, happy, and content, once she adjusts to this overwhelming change in her life. Sadly, the substantial monthly rate increase for her additional care, will minimize the length of her stay as a resident, since Bedford Falls is a Private Pay facility and does not accept Medicaid. We will then be faced with yet another move once her funds are depleted.
