Community Reviews

Friendly Staff!!

reviewed on: 11/01/2016 by Anonymous

My father has been doing great at this community. The meals are in good portions and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are set up so they have a room mate which my father loves. The only complaint he has is that they are purchasing medications and giving them to him that he does not understand. The staff needs to explain each medication better to him and let him know why he is taking it.

Absolutely no

I would want others to know that my opinion is from a while ago, somewhere around 2 years old. The facility constantly smelled of urine, it was old and worn out, and they are essentially herding cattle. There is little if anything when it comes to activities, they sit them down in front of a TV all day. I think they attempted to do the best that they can, but when you pay people minumim wage to o work they are doing, you are going to get the lowest common denoimnator and that is the staff taht they had here. It is one of two facilities in Moore county that accepts medicaid. They are basic keep them alive care. If you want your family member to have anything more than that, you are going to have to hire a CNA to care for your loved on. That includes things like bathing, clean clothes, laundry on their bed is swapped out etc. Overall, I would not recommend.
