Community Reviews
Care for family
reviewed on: 05/17/2017 by AnonymousWe toured this community. The staff was nice when we finally did speak with the director. The community needs improvements in the cleaning. The menu looked appealing. The activities would have been helpful. We would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
cautionary note
reviewed on: 08/04/2021 by Patricia LThis is a gorgeous campus and I became a resident because Brookridge advertises itself as a Christ-centered Baptist home. In practice, it's neither. It is like all other non-church affiliated CCRCs. You, as a resident, will be told that talking about your "religion" (Christian beliefs) is not acceptable - and, indeed, you'll not be permitted to discuss your faith. If you wish to start a Bible study, you'll be told that "you can start one in your apartment" but that "Brookridge will not sponsor nor advertise it in their weekly calendar, newsletter, etc." Instead there are secular socials some of which include alcoholic beverages. The worship opportunities provided are limited and liberal in approach. Although I regret having to leave a negative review, I feel I should caution anyone looking for a community with Christ-focused activities & openness about one's faith, that Brookridge is not the place.Although they are lovely, caring people, the current staff have no idea what this means.
