Communication was ok between the staff and our family. Unfortunately, this just didn't fit our needs at the time. I would recommend the service if it fits your needs. The value of the service was not good as other home services.
Huge help to our family to have Assertive Carereviewed on: 07/29/2021 by anonymous
Everything has been pretty good with Assertive Care. In the beginning there were a couple of care givers where the personalities clashed with our loved ones. However the care giver we have had the last couple of months has been great. We can call or email the agency with any questions we may have, and they are very responsive. The agency was also great about following up with our family in the beginning to make sure everything was going good.
Our Experience with Senior Helpers of Rocklandreviewed on: 08/11/2021 by anonymous
It took them a little bit to find an aide for us. So that was difficult. There was a lot of instability until they found the right person. But after a few weeks, they did, and everything was fine. The industry in general is expensive, but once they found a person for us, I felt like what they provided matched what they said they offer. The main difficulty was with communication on the business end. If a caregiver didn't show up, that wasn't communicated to me. I had to follow up with them. But the aide we ended up with was good. She was very sweet and friendly, and very quick with everything we needed. She was everything I wanted for my loved one. It's just that these agencies - more than just Senior Helpers - are having a hard time getting help. And I feel like they should be more up-front with that.
Tour of Paramount Courtreviewed on: 09/21/2021 by anonymous
The facility was too expensive and we did not think that our loved one would fit in well here. The courtyard for memory care residents was small.
We Were in Need and They Helped Usreviewed on: 05/17/2021 by Curt
I would say to call them as an option. They were able to come support our loved one in the country. The services included being able to sit with our loved and watch out for them.
