Good but understaffed.
reviewed on: 08/30/2017 by Annie A.As a family member I have had first hand experiences with several different nursing facilities. Cypress Pointe made it to good with reservations. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but there always seems to be a shortage of help. I cannot imagine what it is like for patients that have no one to speak for them. Bathing of the patient on a regular basis seemed to be a problem along with clean sheets. I realize with a shortage of help these things cannot be done on a daily basis unless there is urine or feces involved, however a sponge bath with clean clothes would seem reasonable at least every other day. The food is adequate and the kitchen will try and get whatever the patient requests. The therapy department is very helpful and always answers every question and offers advice if asked for it. Housekeeping kept the room and bathroom clean. Never met the director of the facility saw him but he never introduced himself. Other staff in authority were friendly and helpful.
