Friendliness
reviewed on: 10/17/2017 by sfThe women who work here are very friendly. They always call to let me know if she needed extra care. The workers always let me know health information.
Home close to home.
reviewed on: 10/17/2017 by Jerry C NobleMy mother has been here for 4 years and prior to moving in we looked at 4 other care facilities. She picked this location over all the others even though one was closer to my home.
We were glad to have that security.
reviewed on: 01/20/2015 by AnonymousMy mother in law has only been there for a short time. We found out that they were extremely helpful with the process of the interview, and with the move in. They were very accommodating. We were impressed with their cleanliness. During the time with moving, other things stood out. We noticed they were very conscious with their residents health. Very good with quarantining the illness, using gloves and making sure other residents stay in their room to not risk infection. they did that with my mother in law. We were very impressed and you don't get that with other nursing homes. They were prompt to always return our calls. It appears we will be very happy with my mother in law living there. It will cost her a lot less than a nursing home, and better quality, space, and to better interaction to speak with others. A very secure facility, you have to be let in and let out every single time. Of course inconvenient at times for family members to be let in, but you only wait 30 seconds. But they do try everything they can to improve. We were glad to have that security.
Options from a tour
reviewed on: 09/29/2017 by AnonymousI toured this community for my mom. We liked the staff and the menu. The community did not feel like it offerer a nice atmosphere. They offered activities. We would suggest a tour for other families.
Phenomenal Team!
reviewed on: 04/16/2020 by Joy Ware MillerThe genuine care and concern for our Parents has been phenomenal. Working through the transition from their beautiful home...to their new home (much smaller) has not been easy. However, the advantages and safety and peace-of-mind have outweighed many of the challenges which we've had to overcome as a family. The Staff , The Entire Daily Team, Nurses and Therapist are such a treasure. You always want to know that the folks caring for your Parents...will respect and love them just the way they are. The Staff and Team at Urbana Place, allows us to be reassured that our Parents are enjoying a safer and more robust quality of life. Is everything perfect? Nothing is perfect (in this world)...but it's good to know there are individuals helping us, doing their best to help our Parents during this time of their life! Our Parents are Precious! Thank you for all you do!
