Love Park Vista

All the staff, from professionals to support personnel have been very helpful and welcoming. She is enjoying the meals and all the social activities. The facilities are clean and well decorated. My family is very happy with our choice and enjoying the peace of mind knowing that she is happy and well cared for.

The nutritionist is great and mom enjoys the food. I feel that they can use more staff to be able to handle all the residents on any shift.

Used to be better
reviewed on: 09/26/2020 by DaveI am disappointed in the new owners of this property. I know that this is a trying time, during the CoVid pandemic but I believe they could be doing better. Before moving my Mom into Park Vista, we had heard many good things from residents who all seemed to love the place. Now the current residents are complaining about how good it used to be. A cleaning person is supposed to do Mom's apartment every other Monday. After not showing up for 5 weeks, they now come but miss days with no warning and then show up unannounced on a different day and rush through the job as quickly as possible. This week she was there 15 minutes. How good a job can you do in 15 minutes? The dining room is closed because of the virus so they are delivering meals to the apartment. That has been very sporadic with meals arriving somewhere within a 2 hour window. Food has been left in the hallway with barely a knock on the door. Containers have been spilled and the residents say the food is not as good as it used to be. We are trying to work with management to get these issues resolved. They are always agreeable but we have not seen much improvement.
