Community Reviews
Take a look
reviewed on: 06/22/2017 by AnonymousI liked this community when I visited. The staff I met were nice and the community looked well taken care of. We would consider this community if our loved one decided they were ready to move.
I love my new home
reviewed on: 08/31/2020 by Kathryn IngramI am resident at Brookdale Village and I have been treated very well. They helped me move in and get everything settled. Everyone is very nice and my room is big and comfortable. Everyday there are more activities than I can get to. The ponds in the back are so beautiful and I love to go outside and sit with everyone by the water. I do recommend Brookdale because I really feel like this is my new home.
Excellent staff
reviewed on: 06/08/2013 by Jeff SThey are very willing to work with you on various options. My mom has dementia, but isn't ready for memory care yet. They have been very attentive to her through this rough transition. Even many of the residents have gone out of their way to be nice and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the memory care wing was for when mom needs to transition there. This was the best place for the money!
Independence in Assisted Living
reviewed on: 08/31/2020 by Jacki MillerMy family moved my grandmother into this community after she had some troubles in independent living. We tried to find a community where she would feel at home and that she still had her independence. Her ability to go to meals or make something in her room if she didn't feel like going out was a huge plus for us. She took her little dog Rowdy with her too. The view of her apartment was beautiful. We made wonderful memories with her here. The staff always knew who we were and loved when we would come visit. As she needed more care they were able to provide it to her and at the same time help her stay independent. Her appearance was very important to her and they always made sure she looked her best when they started helping her dress. The community had amazing events every month and we loved to join her and celebrate! As she aged she developed Alzheimer's and we were able to keep her in this community. we moved her items to an identical apartment in their memory care unit. This allowed her to stay comfortable with her surroundings and helped us know she was safe. I would recommend this community for someone who is looking for a place to only have to move once. They can take care of it all! I'm sad to say she passed away at the ripe old age of 93 but I'm very happy knowing she was in good hands.
Emeritus at the Village---a harmonious community.
reviewed on: 09/05/2014 by Jan Williams (sister of Joan Roueche)The facility, staff and residents at Emeritus at the Village are caring, genuine, friendly and helpful! No matter what our needs have been, there have been people willing to lend a hand. The activities are entertaining and give the residents something to do throughout the day. Emeritus has taken a stressful time and turned it into a safe haven.
