Expectations Exceeded

We found nothing else that could compare to the scope and beauty of the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. Finally we moved here ten months ago. We are in out early 70s and our only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner. The physical beauty of the campus is extraordinary and gives us the feeling of being in a rural area yet with an extensive list of amenities only minutes away. The availability of activities seems almost unlimited and gives us lifestyle choices that allow us to be as busy or relaxed as we want. The quality of the food and services is excellent, and there is such a feeling of caring from the staff and other residents that we feel at peace and blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. We came here with very high expectations and they have been exceeded.

reviewed on: 08/06/2018 by AnonymousI love it here at Masonic Village Elizabethtown! My first specific experience that drives my opinion happened the during the first week after I moved in. I went outside to take a picture of the front porch with my new welcome mat and locked myself out. I called the switchboard operator and they sent a security officer within five minutes! While waiting for that, I called the operator again to ask for help with the flattened cardboard moving boxes and packing paper piling up in my garage. I was transferred to the housekeeping supervisor who responded: "Could I send a truck right away?" I almost fainted with pleasure from that. The truck came five minutes after the the security officer and that pickup of cardboard and paper process happened several more times until I finished unpacking. Other than the service, my cottage and the overall physical surroundings are beautiful and continuously well kept.

reviewed on: 09/01/2016 by AnonymousWe recently assisted in relocating a relative to an apartment at Masonic Village. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The staff is courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist. The campus and associated buildings are impeccably maintained and clean. It is the perfect place for my relative who is able to prepare small meals on her own, but likes the convenience of going to the dining hall with friends she has made. She is close to everything she needs - the on-campus bank, physicians office, gift shop, library, etc. The security of the residents is a priority which I greatly appreciate. Masonic Village is a fantastic care facility!

The staff is friendly and helpful, the campus is beautiful all-year round, and the walking trails and paths provide scenic walks. Whatever your interest or if you are looking to learn something new, the opportunities are many…..all which provide welcoming friendships!
