Retirement Living at Masonic Village Elizabethtown
reviewed on: 10/08/2021 by Janice RohrbachAfter visiting the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown and touring several of the buildings, we agreed that this was where we wanted to be for our retirement living. The fact that the Masonic Village is a continuing care retirement community was important to us. When life patterns change, there is help available right here on the campus. the campus is beautifully landscaped and very well-maintained. There are many activities available and you can be as active as you want to be. We are very happy and feel privileged to be here !

reviewed on: 01/14/2017 by Joe ChaudoinMy wife and I have lived in a cottage at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, Pa for over four years! We moved in as soon as my wife met the minimum age. We both don't have any real health issues. We actually saved money! Our monthly fee is about $200 a month less than our costs of maintaining our home, once you consider, property taxes, utilities, maintenance and food costs. Included in your fee is one meal a day, which can be used at one of the 6 restaurants on campus. Two of the restaurants offer 4 star dining! It is like being on a cruise ship, the food is that good!! We couldn't be happier! Why wouldn't we! We live on a 1400 acre estate, with incredible grounds, 5 miles of walking paths, beautiful gardens and the main lodge that looks like a castle! The 2000 residents are serviced by over 1900 dedicated employee's who take care of our every need and concerns. You can never be bored with so many activities, either on campus or off! We come and go as we please. Our cottage is maintained with the upmost of care, the cleaning services come in twice a month, even when we are traveling for months at a time! When we return our home is just as we left it. The landscaping around our cottage is refreshed every season with new flowers, our grass is always cut, the snow is removed quickly, our walks are shoveled, and salted to protect from slipping on the ice! Come visit the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, Pa and see for yourself!

Kind and caring staff and residents? Yes! Every possible option for continuing care? Yes! And how about good food? Yes, yes, yes! (With six different dining venues.) Concerts, lectures, clubs, activities, trips? Yes! A newly remodeled fitness center? Yes! Bring your pet? Yes! We moved here to take the worry out of our aging for our kids and grandkids. Who knew we would land in such a great place with everything at our fingertips. We give Masonic Village in E'town 5 stars, without reservation.

reviewed on: 07/21/2020 by Robert QueenLooked at a number of CCRC communities. All were very nice with their own set of amenities. None were inexpensive. Could have moved into any one of them and been content. Masonic Village offered the most things for the money and options to decline things (at a savings) until I actually needed them. Masonic Village is a large facility. There are pros and cons to that. The pros: financially stable, able to deal with anything without having to go off site. (That’s why I came here.). Offer many medical care items on site. Anything you need is within a reasonable distance if not on site. A large variety of optional activities to select from. Biggest thing I like so far is how friendly everyone is, from other residents to the employees, everyone always willing to assist.

In two months they relocated to the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA into a totally remodeled 2 bedroom apartment. It was a smooth transition and the best decision they have made with oncoming health challenges. The facilities are beautiful, grounds immaculate, dining choices endless with a wonderful dining staff, numerous amenities, social events, campus shuttles are safe and convenient. Healthcare is provided on campus too. The staff are so friendly and they can't do enough for their residents. They are only a call away. It has given our family piece of mind knowing they will always have the help they need. Just like teenagers I strongly believe our senior adults need companionship too. What a wonderful support system.
