Community Reviews
Good Staff
reviewed on: 03/14/2017 by AnonymousIt is still a work in progress for my aunt since her move to this community. I do feel comfortable with her move here. It is a great community with kind people. The staff is excellent, they have been kind, and friendly. There are tons of activities available for the residents. I've talked to some of the residents, and they say the food is good. It is a good fit for my aunt, and her needs. I would say if you got the money, this is a community I would recommend.

We did have have to recently call hospice in so there is some confusion between what hospice should be doing and what the aids should be doing. So there could just be a little more clarification for the aids. The menu looks great, but our loved one is on a pureed diet. The barriers have been lifted so the activities are coming back, and the volunteers are coming back. There is arts and crafts in the memory care, and our loved one especially likes it when they bake cupcakes because they get to decorate and eat them.
They are wonderful.
reviewed on: 01/07/2014 by FamilyThey are wonderful. I would say, make very clear the level of need, because if there is an issue with not enough staffing or anything, then you have no recourse. I hear complaints and I know people have problems nothing is perfect so make sure it is the right fit for you. She can vocalize her needs so it's great for her. I like this facility, She loved the food at first but now she says it's bad but when I addressed it is getting bettter. There is some care that exceeds some of my expectations, the activities people are wonderful!! People should see what they are doing and do the same, the head of activities and her assistant, Sharon and Micki, they get 20 stars, they are just awesome!! They go to the casino and the grocery store, and the dollar store, and they are wonderful. The cleanliness was one of the most important parts to me and they are right on it! The nursing staff is good but they are understaffed. Once I got her up there and decided this is where she was going to stay I felt like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders, because the responsibility of her care was now shared, if I get a call in the middle of the night I don't have to worry because someone is right on it. I think people don't listen to the residents very much. They have some good administrative people there that have to work through a lot of red tape, but there is no administrative staff on duty on the weekends, the headnurse and the front desk girl is it. All in all I would reccommend this place. I like them very much, everyone needs improvement but I like them. I think they do a wonderful service fot these people.
Caring for My Mother and Her Needs Very Well
reviewed on: 11/09/2016 by AnonymousSo far my mother respite stay experience is going pretty well here at this community. She is here to recover from some accidents she had. The staff is very good, they are caring for her very well. The communication between the staff and myself is very good. They have a nice variety of activities for the residents to choose from. One issue my mother has had, is that when she receives her food it isn't as hot as she would like it. I know she is safe. She has three help buttons in her room. I would recommend this community, it has been a good experience so far.
lack of communication
reviewed on: 01/07/2016 by AnonymousMy mom did not do many activities there. My mom passed away after being there for a week. We paid a deposit of $1500 and I wrote them and asked about refunding me and they have failed to respond.
