Overall great place for senior care

We chose Lexington place because of what you got for the value, we felt like it was a nice facility with good programs compared to some others we looked into. The rooms are all studio apartments, but they have different sizes so you can choose what better fits your needs. About 2 months ago, they got a new director and some of the things that she has put into place are not good right now and she is not good with communication. We have had to go above her in order to get answers on things and issues that we are having. I do believe the person we have been speaking to is trying to help and solve some of these issues. But overall my mom is very happy here and well taken care of. Even with the issues we are having, we are still happy with our choice of Lexington place in general.
I like them, I think they are doing a pretty good job overall.

When they have fresh ingredients the meals seem good, but they do tend to get a lot of frozen or canned and processed foods, that aren't as great. I felt like the price was pretty comparable to the other places I looked at.
Would chose them again!
reviewed on: 08/30/2013 by LeeThey're very friendly, the common areas are very clean, it's my uncle and I have not been down there since he moved in but I think things must be going pretty well and the staff must be pretty good because he's not complaining. They are transporting him to and from the VA which is critical for him, they are helping him with his medications, keeping him on his medications and supervising him taking them. My first impressions of the place were very positive, I was really impressed when we visited and asked the questions, with tthe proficiency of the staff and the cleanliness of the place. i have no reservations or hesistations about him being there. If I had to do it all over again or had other relatives that needed to go somewhere I would pick Lexington again.

reviewed on: 06/15/2016 by LOUISE CRIMI was very impressed with this place. It had things that were very surprising to me, such as the way it was run. IT did not have the smell that most homes have. It was very clean and the way the hired help was always busy cleaning or doing things for the people that live there. The rooms were a good size for a person to live in. They have activities for the residence to join in. The cost was very reasonable.

The staff here is wonderful, everyone I met from the administrator down to the care staff was as friendly as could be. They're also very attentive, and do a great job looking after the residents. The facility is clean and well kept, and they had a lot of great activities. The food was good as well, although they could really use a little more variety, you see a lot of repeat dishes. It's a very nice place overall!
