Community Reviews
They are doing a good job.
reviewed on: 01/09/2015 by AnonymousThey are doing a good job. They are very nice. I like that they have the dementia residents on one wing and the Alzheimer's residents on the other. It works out well since one group happens to be more lively than the other.

An Outstanding Memory Care Center You Should Consider
reviewed on: 08/14/2015 by Mrs Dottie MorganAria Memory Care has become a wise choice to care for my husband in his stressful bout with advanced Dementia and related illnesses. Since we were moving him from out of state, there was no time to visit or even meet the staff of Aria, only we had promising phone calls which made us trust that we were doing the right thing for him. The staff at Aria are all knowledgeable and most accommodating to their patients. I am sure my husband has been most trying at times and occasionally a bit out of hand but all these stressful issues seem to be resolved for now. It is the very nature of Dementia to be critical and over demanding but they all try to keep the peace among the residents like my husband who I am sure tries their patience no end. He is a person who needs to be kept very busy and we note that he is allowed to help out in the patio area garden which is wonderful. He also helps the Maintenance gentleman when he can and all we can say is that makes him feel needed and a bit important. My biggest concern is the aggression in my husband can cause friction between him and others there on occasion so we hope his medications are monitored maybe more frequently than the norm to ensure he tones it down a bit and tries getting along more with others. We deeply appreciate everything the outstanding staff is doing to help him settle in better everyday and we highly recommend this lovely facility to anyone having loved ones who are suffering from Dementia/Alzeimer's and mental problems so prevalent in the world today. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you today and everyday at the Aria. God Bless all of You! Mrs. Dottie Morgan
New, pleasant, 24/7 care for those with memory issues
reviewed on: 01/26/2014 by Jane, NCLess than a year old, with a pleasant, spacious, ground-floor design, Aria provides care for seniors with moderate to severe memory issues. The name is from their use of music therapy. The staff is expert and very involved and caring with each individual; occasionally they are spread thin, but less so than at most places I've seen. Activities are still being expanded in scope, but are done very inventively, and with a high level of participation - exercises, games, crafts, discussions, music, outdoors, visiting dogs & children & entertainers. Food is good (especially the amazingly scruptious sugar-free ice-cream protein shakes and the fairly frequent cookies hot-from-the-oven as an afternoon snack), and it is tuned thoughtfully to the needs & preferences of the residents. About 15 residents now, capacity would be around 30, in large single or double rooms with a U design around an outdoor patio & garden.
Beautiful and warm home with experienced staff and a great plans for the future!
reviewed on: 05/16/2014 by Jatana Neff-GalantI have volunteered several times at Aria and I love the facility as well as the staff. Whenever a facility opens it takes time to get full and once more residents move in there will be a lot more activities and offerings. Funding is a challenge until that point. I know they have lots of offerings planned, i.e., music therapy, vegetable garden, etc., but in the mean time I found the staff very caring and competent, the facility beautiful and spotless, and I love that residents have a great outdoor space that makes it feel like home. There is a very comfortable, at home feeling here and as more residents move in, I know they'll be offering special activities and music therapy! Go visit and you'll see what I mean. I would not be giving of my free time to a place that I didn't believe in.
