Our Last Hope
reviewed on: 05/05/2016 by JoyinthewindThe halls are a little dusty but the primary focus is geared toward their residents. I can appreciate that. The main areas are well maintained. The facilities manager is direct and kind with a firm understanding to be clear, open, and honest. The residents are friendly, so far that we know. Sign language is a must have to communicate properly, as well as, a respectful awareness and consideration of the blind. Many of the current residents are deaf or blind. All maintenance issues are dealt with promptly, the staff are patient and kind though assert a firm authority. Centrally located near city transit. Primary physicians visit the facility. All physicals, x-rays, etc. done in house. Only Specialists must be attended to in town. Activities are pretty standard but some are limited (such as, trips to wal-mart are limited to 6 residents once a week), however, special requests can be made for consideration. If you're interested in this facility, don't just call or write. Pay them a visit. Don't rely on return calls, not that you won't get one but that they are very busy with hands-on management of their residents. It is best to show up, rather than sit around and wait. If you decide to wait, give them a week to return your call. It won't take that long but settle in to be patiently waiting before allowing frustration to curb your choices.

Very poorly
