Didn't Work for My Mom
reviewed on: 09/16/2013 by PattyI had my mother stay there for just a week and they did not have an assisted living room available at the time so she was offered a nursing room. Because of my mother's situation, she's not really in the nursing care category so it was a little harder on her having people come in the room all the time and checking on her so much. I think she preferred an independent living with some assistance. I looked at their independent living but it was a lot more expensive for a smaller apartment. They had meals 7 days a week but the value just wasn't there.

Housekeeping does an effective and thorough job each week. 3). The food is nourishing and abundant 4). Maintenance is immediately responsive and corrects any problems.
Professional and caring environment
reviewed on: 04/19/2016 by DebbieMy parents were residents of Treemont for many years. They enjoyed their extended independence at an affordable price. The staff is friendly and caring. The main complaint I heard from them and others was that the food menu was repetitive though I found the food tasty and filling I did not eat there every day. The building is older but well maintained., The apartments are nice and any repairs needed were handled in a reasonable time frame. What I had the most experience with was their Home Health Care and their nursing staff. They were wonderful and worked hard to keep my mother in her apartment rather than transferring her to a nursing home. They gave me piece of mind that she was well taken care of even though they did not have 24 hour on site nurses. They went the extra mile to accommodate her special needs. I could not have asked for better care for her.
Thank you Treemont!
reviewed on: 09/16/2019 by Joan NeringI miss my friends there and thankfully still get to visit. I was there not once but TWICE!! The first time I was in the Health care unit after a blood clot was discovered on my lung. Everything about my stay was outstanding! So in 2016 when I had a stroke I knew exactly where I wanted to go and became a resident for almost 2 fun years. Thank you Treemont!!
good place, activities could improve
reviewed on: 12/02/2014 by AnonymousEverybody I met when I went to Treemont Retirement was very nice and friendly. Mom is enjoying it there overall and we are happy with the experience. One area where they could improve is with the activities. A lot of the activities are too late in the day, and there is not much involvement. They really need to have more options.
