reviewed on: 10/08/2019 by Jerry LevyMy father, [name removed] lives at the Treemont Assisted Living I rate the facility 4.5 out of 5 stars. Things could always be improved. The staff has been attentive, friendly and affectionate toward my Dad. Je jas repeatedly told me that he is happy with the room and aides that cae for him. THey have persuaded him to improve his hygiene, he allows them to bath, shave, and help him dress. He likes them and their children if they visit. He really enjoys bingo. He likes the food. Says breakfast is his favorite. He says he gets too much and some goes to waste. He dislikes his food being ground up but that is a safety issue. [Name removed] has been particularly helpful in keeping me awaye of any change in my Dad's health or his needs.

I have had other family members here so I am familiar with how the community works. The staff is treating mom well she seems to be liking the food. They offer active however mom does not have the personality to join any of that stuff. They offer transportation to and from doctors offices and shopping which is a nice feature.

good place, activities could improve
reviewed on: 12/02/2014 by AnonymousEverybody I met when I went to Treemont Retirement was very nice and friendly. Mom is enjoying it there overall and we are happy with the experience. One area where they could improve is with the activities. A lot of the activities are too late in the day, and there is not much involvement. They really need to have more options.

It was fine, especially in the beginning but it just got to the point where mom was not very mobile anymore and with dementia, she could not lie alone anymore. They do have assisted living, but the price is very high and the rooms were not homey. They were more like a hospital room.
