Good rehab care
reviewed on: 04/06/2015 by AnonymousMy loved one stayed here briefly for some rehab care, and overall I thought they did an excellent job. The facility was clean and well kept, the staff were friendly, and they did a great job with his rehabilitation.
Could not be happier!
reviewed on: 07/29/2020 by Carlos EsquivelMy mother became a resident at The Villages On Macarthur 1 year ago in July, my father did not want to leave her side as they have been married for 70 yrs. so he became a resident as well, they are both 90 years young. The staff has been great all this time especially Jean-Marie Director of Social services & Angela business office manager, communication with & through them has been exceptional, they care not only for the residents but for the family members living on the outside. Getting through this pandemic & the lockdown has been difficult but with their constant communication and attention to detail it has made this so much easier. My mother has had some health issues and each time she was diagnosed correctly due to a great nursing staff & Doctors that provide the needed recommendations to get her the care she needs. THANK YOU VILLAGES!
Change of heart (posted a negative review a few days ago)
reviewed on: 03/27/2020 by Jill SeatonA few days ago I left a VERY negative review of this facility. Since that time I have been in communication with the Director, John Wilson, who has apologized for the way that my family member had initially been treated and has assured me that those who were responsible have been reprimanded. Furthermore, Mr. Wilson confirmed to me that the well being of the residents of this facility are are his top priority. I am very pleased with the care that my family member is currently receiving. Once this shelter in place ban is lifted I look forward to making my way from PA to visit the facility and to meet Mr. Wilson and his staff personally.
From the heart of a Clinical Chaplain
reviewed on: 05/07/2019 by Donald Lee PerryAs a clinical Chaplain of 10-years, I see the best in continuity of care and enhanced well-being for every resident. CONGRATULATIONS to Jenna Costello, the Activity Director and Brittany for being the best at what they do. It is a joy to see residents engage, laugh and interact during Events that is to their benefit. ALSO to the Front Desk Secretary, Rebora. You all help create a welcoming atmosphere for residents, family and visitors! Way to go!🤗🤗🤗
Great Teamwork
reviewed on: 11/08/2018 by The Good WifeManaging your loved one's care from another state is difficult in and of itself. The team here at Villages on MacArthur have been wonderful in taking care of my husband. While visiting they took great care to allow privacy while also making sure his needs were met and allowing me to stay until wee hours of the night. Felicia, Joseph and other staff were remarkable. But I already knew that with the direction of the Director of Nursing Yvette at the helm. The business office, therapy and social worker were also very helpful and accommodating. They have all worked well with my sons and they have tried to help me navigate my husband's care from afar. Thank you Team!
